Who we are

The Platform brings together companies, institutions and associations aiming to close the loop on phosphorus, a critical raw material for Europe in order to achieve the self-sufficiency for this element on national basis and coordination with European policies

The Platform’s approach is based on the principles of the circular economy, therefore on the closure of the cycle on the entire value chain, from primary production to recovery from secondary sources, and is divided into 4 working groups (WP) that address the issue from different points of view:

WP2 – Technologies and Best Practices

WP3 – Legislation

WP4 – Market

The Platform works in connection with Italian Platform for Circular Economy, with special reference to Agrifood subgroup of 4 Working Group ‘Circular and sustainable value chains’.
